vacation? kinda
dude, it's great that i have two weeks off from school but i'm going to spend nearly the whole time doing my gov/eco correspondence courses. of course, that's my own damn fault for taking too many other classes...and going to HC...and not doing them over the summer...but anyway, i still won't have a whole lot of free time this break.
plus i've got some cousins coming to visit at some point, and my mom's gonna drag me to work with her a couple times at least, and i should throw together about three college apps before they're due, and of course i need to get in some time with my dad and my friends, and when you add it all up i'm gonna be damn busy. just like usual.
but if i didn't have this break, then i'd be doing all that PLUS regular school stuff, which is quite enough by itself, thank you very much. so i guess it's cool.
it's just that i remember the days when even a weekend was almost totally free from work, and if i did some homework during school i could scrounge together a couple of hours to play DDR and still go to bed early. don't you miss middle school sometimes? i wish i could go back and do it all again, but as i am now, not as i was then. it would be a lot cooler that way.
