Today at work we got in the new wave of Doctor Who figures.

DON'T REMIND ME. I went into the Croydon branch today and they had the new wave, which is great, because I've been wanting to buy a Weeping Angel for my friend. However, stupidly I decided to browse the rest of the store first, and when I got back there was a guy standing at the counter with my Weeping Angel, all This is the last one, you say? Well, I'll take it! /o\

Also: YAY GABRIEL. What you say is absolutely right, of course, it would devalue his death somewhat. But what if Chuck bought Gabriel back? What then? (Although part of me would love it if Sam and Dean opened their hotel door one day and just found Gabriel sitting on Sam's bed eating chocolate. "What up, guys")

Being Human is fantastic. As is Mitchell (the vampire). True and slightly sad fact: around the time S2 aired, I started writing a SPNRPS crossover in which Jensen was the vampire, Jared was the werewolf, and Misha was the ghost haunting their apartment. /o ( ... )

Awww no! Hehe, I hate it when that happens. When it comes to Doctor Who merchandise all you can really do is grab hold of it like a mad thing when you see what you want to buy. Because that stuff is so popular, as you know. I hope you find your Weeping Angel soon!

I would flippin' love for the Winchesters to find Gabriel sprawled over Sam's bed eating candy, wrappers everywhere. It would be awesome, just for the look on their faces, and Gabe's inevitable smirk. Still, I wouldn't want the writers to bring him back just so they had a character who made sex jokes all the time. I hope, if it does happen, that he comes back for a reason. I don't know...I'd love for him to go back to his angelic roots as it were and help the boys.

I was honestly surprised by how well written Being Human was. I, in my cynical way, was expecting it to be some ridiculous, transparent love triangle between a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire. I am so glad I was proven wrong! Yes, Mitchell. That is all. The SPNRPS sounds sort of awesome! Why is it so easy to ( ... )

I don't think it would ruin the impact of his death. This is a show where people come back from death all the time. I don't think Dean coming back from hell made his going there any easier, or Castiel coming back after 4.22 making his sacrifice less. (I would say that him coming back after 5.22 was cheapened, though that was mainly because of how it was obvious his death scene was played for shits and giggles.) I mean, this is a show where we've actually SEEN God. I think God bringing Gabe back would be easiest. As much as I'd like for it to retcon into a fake death (mainly because I thought Gabriel's plan was DUMB and surely he'd have a trickier plan than that), it would be harder to do because that was a pretty dead death scene. There was this fanfic that (I don't remember the name of) had God bringing Gabriel back, and Gabriel summed the whole thing up to the boys in one sentence. "Apparently siding with you two is a get out of death free card ( ... )

I have heard this possible Gabriel return news too. My only fear is that they'll do the classic Supernatural thing where they use a different actor once the character has come back from the dead. I'm doubting they will since Richard was such a hit. His swansong in 'Hammer' was so good, but I would love to see him back. He gives my heart such joy :)

And your dress sounds gorgeous. I have trouble finding nice dresses too since I wear them so rarely. I may have to forage around in town this coming weekend. Will you be in FB? I may pop in to say hi and have a hug :)

I know exactly what you mean and I would hate for Gabriel to be played by another actor. Richard IS the Trickster! The thought of having him back makes my heart soar, I love him so :)

And yes I shall be working at the weekend! Do come in to say howdy and have a hug. Providing it's not too busy we may even manage a quick fandom natter :D

Ooh, cool. We'll likely be in early in the morning - well, about 9am. What hours are you working Saturday? And on what level? I assume you're behind the desk right by the front door? Also, may I ask your name, or would you prefer me trot up and ask for Buttercup? ;)
