I wanna SING!

Howdy! It's good to be here... man, look at all those smiling faces.  This mic live? *thump*

My name is Josh, but it doesn't really matter, because half of my friends call me Quantum anyhow... my mother is quite
amused. She claims she found me in the back of the fridge, where I began life as a tomato. On the other hand, some less
biased individuals have informed me that I was born in Dallas, Texas, in a big hospital really close to a noted schoolbook depository.

My true personality is known only to myself, my personal tastes are unknowable, my identity is in flux, and I don't want to be
understood. On those terms, I am quite content. I'm into applied psychology, and I love to give confusing subconscious signals
to keep people wondering about me. No, I don't want to date you, I don't keep in touch very well, and I'm rather hard to like
once you get to know me well. I'm just... strange.

If I've never met you before, I'll probably come across as quite outgoing. I'll probably greet you before you've even noticed me,
probably with a handshake. Be careful how you shake my hand... I can read your mind as long as I'm touching you. Expect
me to know your general attitude about me, your religious tilt, your age, and your outlook on life... or don't shake my hand.

I smile a lot, laugh a lot, and I'm almost impossible to rile. As far as I can recall, I have never lost my temper... if I'm angry at you,
my mind goes into full gear and I smile and remain friendly. Much worse for you.

Physically, I'm a male (surprise!), about 5'6", of a rather trucklike build. I have two brown eyes, one small, average nose, and a
charming, heroic chin. And massive feet. My brown curly-in-the-front-and-straight-in-the-back hair is notably unruly, a trait
exacerbated by it's naughty sidekick, Fluffy Moustache. I have very good balance, countered by the fact that it's hard to stop a train.

I am beyond liking computers. I grok them. I began my computer work in earnest at age 11, tinkering on an old DOS machine and learning
all of MS-DOS in the process of trying to figure out how to start Windows 3.1 (Yeah, I never dawned on me to type "win". I
actually learned every command on the system in the process of finding it). It's been rather awhile since then, and I'm still learning every day.
I spent about nine months working as a technician/sales rep/everything at a small local computer store, and I held my own quite well.

Enough about me. Or not. You never know.

Never ask why you got a stupid answer.
