Licenses, Booze, and Birthdays
Well, I went to get my license renewed, and I guess I should have looked at it before I left…it’s a bad picture….i mean…really bad….i have a double chin……it’s because the lady at the office told me to look down at the puppies in the picture below the camera….i should have known better to listen to the sole employee of the licensing office….well, I hope I don’t loose my license and be forced to get a new one with a better picture….as for the license thing, cause I went early, I’ll be stuck with the underage license for the next 5 years….why? It was a week before my birthday…they know people come in early…so, the next 5 years, people will be double checking my ID for things, thinking I am under 21. As for that, turning 21 in Pullman and everyone thinks you are going to go out and get wasted…well, it is a party town. But honestly, people are shocked to hear that I haven’t ever had alcohol (besides communion wine at church), and that I don’t plan to have a 21 run…it seems that this is a great crime against humanity or something…oh, I have better things to do this Thursday night, like read for class, and participate in a fire drill!
