grow up

I've come to somewhat of a life changing realization lately

The world is huge.  Now I don't mean to state the obvious, but when you're traveling and see hundreds of unfamiliar faces every day, it really dawns on you that you are a very small piece of the life puzzle.  So live a little, and take a step out of the familiar.

Everybody you meet has some sort of influence on your life-  no matter the size the effect, they will slightly or generously change your perspective on certain things.  Either way, an opinion or outlook that you may have not thought about before will now be at the least recognized.  And the more people you meet, the more your perspective will constantly change-- an inevitable oxymoron.  But nonetheless, it's there.  Your conversations, actions, and experiences have ingrained something in your mind that will stick with you until your grave.  Then when you feel like you've experienced the entire spectrum of hypocrisy and concluded them with enough revelations, you start to create an image in your head as to what kind of person is the most ideal- what sort of person you strive to be.  That feeling, I think, will set the foundation in this process we call growing up.
