GRADUATION
I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL
YESTERDAY
But I was tired as heck afterwards and today was my lazy day
So first we had finals in the morning, which for me consisted of just woodshop for period 6. It was a super-easy test. Then afterwards we had a graduation rehearsal out on the field... But it was raining! Well, more like drizzling, but it put a damper on everyone's moods.
We rehearsed a bit and the principal wasn't very happy with our performance... lol. After that I went to the library because my mom couldn't get off work until 4. I found this cute magazine with an article about How To Train Your Dragon and then looked up the movie on TVTropes... wasted all my time there, lol.
Also listened to Lithuania's Eurovision song on repeat. SO DAMN CATCHY
I came home briefly for 15 minutes to change, eat a quick snack, and then went back to school for lineup at 5:30. I got placed in row L with Mr. Carman who is hilarious, and a good friend of Mr. Bullington so you know what kind of guy he is. Speaking of which, I saw Mr. Bullington and he pointed out my medals and I was like I JINGLE WHEN I WALK and that was the last thing I said to him.
So we talked to Mr. Carman while waiting in line and talked about STEAMY LOVE AFFAIRS between this girl's dad and his high school sweetheart. AND THEN WAS GRADUATION
Remember how I said it was raining earlier? Yeah? The sun came out just as we were walking out on the field /o/
Troy and Winston Chang were the valedictorians and they gave speeches and there were more speeches and you know what, the entire time I was shivering and nervous and feeling like I was going to pass out, mostly out of hunger because I ate next to nothing. But I kept my spirits high and played Pokemon and Phoenix Wright music in my head and that made things better.
It was over before I knew it, and I tossed my cap in the air and then Teresa and David came running out on the field and then my mom and then suddenly I was hugging everyone... out of nowhere James shows up and he's like "I didn't know you were a Senior!" and I'm like "......................hi" and he says, "I'm not going to do it". So I yelled "Thank you!" and ran off.
We went home and I got my cell Phone and saw I had two missed calls from onewithrussiaxd so I called her back and she's like WHERE ARE YOU and I'm like dsghjkgsdg I didn't know where she was. So we went back and I managed to drag her to the car and we came home and had cake and then Gugu came and then we took OWR home...
It was so great. I feel kind of really awesome. I'm going to miss high school though.
EDIT: I FORGOT TO MENTION ME AND OWR SINGING AVENUE Q'S "FOR NOW" LOUDLY IN THE CAR AND YES THIS IS RELEVANT
