I swear, God tries to hit me with as much shit as possible. Whatever I cling to, God tries very hard to take away.
So today, my boss told me that my promotion was not going to be approved. Great. I'll admit I had consistency issues, but consistency isn't a requirement, its an arbitrary requirement. The office prides itself on promoting people who can do work, and I clearly can do work. My numbers are good enough. So why are they tormenting me?
I don't know. I don't know what I can do about.
