Chapter 1: Liz-chama comes
A/N: I proudly return my original character and have her enter the world of Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann. This may have some spoilers, so don't read if you haven't seen the anime already!
Lizbet Derisham came from Derisham town on Earth. She was in her late teens, with long pink hair, penetrating jade green eyes, a body that got the guys's eyes, and an infectious smile. She was a girl that got the boys liking her with her charm and good looks.. However, life was not all wonderful for Liz-chama, as her friends called her. She lost her parents to the Spiral King when she was but two and had to live with an overbearing uncle since then. Her uncle neither wanted nor cared to raise a girl, saying he could only raise a boy. So Liz-chama grew up often neglected, having only her school friends to hear her. But friends were few and far between in this place, as most of the students there were the children of powerful people. Liz-chama was very smart and that made the students hate her, with a dew exceptions. She knew someday that she would have what she wanted: a cute guy that would be her boyfriend. Little chance of that now, being the one designated to clean floors in the ship.
Her opportunity came one day when she found the young man named Kamina sitting all alone. Like her, he was leading a difficult life. At the time he was merely a co-pilot of the Gurren-Lagann, fighting against the forces of the Spiral king. Liz-chama came overand sat next to him. "You seem distressed." Se said. "I have lost my friend." He said. "That's too bad do you want to talk about it?" She said. "It's not fair. He was helping the fight now without him we have no fight." He said. "Don't be down Kamina your our leader now and so you have to be strong for us." She said. "your right. I have to be strong so we can make it and be free." He said. She smiled at him and he stood up. Raising a fist to his chest, he said "I swear upon my life my brother will not have died in vein! He will be avenged!" He said. Kamina then walked away happy. "Oh Kamina, can't you see me here?" Liz-chama wondered aloud.
Liz-chama was talking to her friend Kelsa. "I met Kamina today. He seemed drown in the dumps but I helped him out." She said. "He is cute." She said. "Yea I know I want to make him mine but he's already got a girlfriend. Yoko-chan would get pissed off if he saw me with him." She said. "Yea I know that's why you shouldn't do that." She said. "I know but I still want him and I think he wants me." She said. "Derisham we need to you scrub the deck. It doesn't clean itself you know." A voice said. Yes, she was the one that cleaned the floors there. However humble that sounded she know that she was destined for better things. She knew that someday, she's have Kamina in her arms. She knew she's get something for her trouble. She was cleaning the floor when it happened. That little bitch Yoko came in. Yoko was always so nice to everyone except Liz-chama. Only to her did Yoko show her true nature. Yoko was an utter bitch to poor Liz-chama. "You're doing it all wrong!" Yoko said (as if there was a wrong way to clean the floor.) Yoko sneered at Liz-chama, and ordered her to scrub harder. Yoko then left calling Liz-chama astupid bimbo and said she's never amount to anything.
Then came that fateful day. The day Liz-chama was cleaning in the weapons area when the forces of the Spiral King attacked. They quickly hit the ship and cut off the section Liz-chama was in from the others. They thought they could score an easy victory - but they didn't count on Liz-chama. "If anyone can, get to the weapons and fire them!" A voice said. Liz-chama had never fired a weapon before, but she quickly took a set in one of the main artillary gun banks. "The targeting computers are hit. I've got to do this manually." She said. She took aim at one of the Spiral King's robots and fired, scoring a direct hit to the propulsion system. That robot was slow going on its backups. Liz-chama fired again and hit it again, and this time, it exploded. "Yatta!! I did it!!" Liz-chama said with gleem. She couldn't rest on her success, though; she had to fight on. For the team. For freedom. And most importantly, for Kamina-kun. It was the thought of being able to feel his broad, manly chest in her hands that pushed her to go father, to dig deep within the deepest confines of her energy reserves to push herself over the top. Liz-chama kept firing and firing that gun. Gurren-Lagann was out on the battlefield with the other robots by now, and they too were fighting off the hoards of robots that the Spiral King had sent to them. Liz-chama had the eye of the tigress in her face as she shot a coolant line on one of the robots, severing it and sending a spray of coolant all over the ground. As the robot overheated in the dessert sun, it had to shut down, making it an easy target for Liz-chama's next shot. On and on the battle went; the tide was clearly in favor of Kamina's army, thanks mostly to Liz-chama. Of the sixty or so robots sent, she managed to stop fourty of them single-handedly and had a role in stopping twenty more. Liz-chama was very happy as she stood up after defeating the final robot with the help of the Gurren-Lagann. "All right! I knew we could do it! That one's for you, Kamina-Kun." She said.
It was about four hours later. Kamina came back and asked about the gunner that was so stunning in her performance. He asked who that was that was so good on the gun. When Liz-chama replied it was her, he gave her a quick hug. "Well now, you show a lot of promise as a gunner! No more cleaning the floor for you - I want to see if you can pilot a Gurren clone!" He said. Liz-chama smiled as Yoko got a sour look on her face. "Damn that bitch. She's going to steal Kamina away from me. I won't let her do that." She thought. "Oh, thank you, Kamina-sama! I'll do my best n to let you down!" Liz-chama said. Kamina smiled at this. "Don't you worry you just do your best starting tomorrow we'll have you in a mecha all your own." He said. Yoko, however, was looking as sour as a lemon. "That motherfucking bitch! How DARE she take MY man away from me! She gets lucky once and suddenly she's everyone's sweetheart!" Yoko thought. She wasn't gonna to take this lying down. Yoko had decided enough was enough. Liz-chama had to die.
The next day, Liz-chama was out at the deck checking out the latest-made mecha and found one that she liked. Liz-chama hipped into the driver's seat and powered up the mech. "Wow! That's incredible! Her spiral energy is off the scale!" Rossiu said. He seemed a tad aloof at times, but really came through when needed, Liz-chama thought. She flew that mecha out and about. Every move she executed flawlessly despite only having one day's training on the mecha. Liz-chama couldn't help but smile as she took down a series of targets. "You're doing great, Liz-chama!" Rossiu said. "Thanks." Liz-chama replied. She aimed at the targets and fired, hitting the bull's eye every time. Liz-chama managed to do it all. Naturally, this made Yoko very jealous. She didn't like the fact that Liz-chama was better than her. Yoko had been the best gunner until Liz-chama showed up. She wasn't about to give that title up. Andshe certainly wasn't going to give Kamina up. Not without a fight at least.
That evening, Liz-chama was talking to Kelsa again. "You were very impressive out there." she said. "Thank you, I always knew I could do that." Liz-chama said. She knew the next step in getting her man was getting Yoko out of the picture. She wasn't sure she wanted to do this, however, and it gnawed at her like a ... Well, something that gnaws things.
Three days later, Liz-chama was on the battlefield, fighting robots when it happened. She ran into her uncle, who was an ardent supporter of the Spiral King. "what are you doing here, Lizbet!? You should be at home cleaming the floor!" He snarled. "Uncle Viral!" Liz-chama said. "I won't be put down by you or anyone else anymore! I know I can be better than anyone else!" She said. She fired her guns and hit some of Viral's shots. However, Viral was faster to shoot, and ended up hitting Liz-chama's mech, causing it to explode. Liz-chama was barely able to eject in time, but now she was out on the battlefield with only a small laser to protect her...

Chapter 2: Liz-chama in the driver's Seat

Liz-chama knew what it was like to be alone, without anything but herself. She knew that she wasn't alone, though. The others were watching. Kelsa was watching. Simon was watching. Yoko was watching, that bitch. But most importantly... Kamina was watching. She knew she couldn't fail, not when it would look good to *him*. She had to think and act fast. Viral's mech was barrelling down at her. Viral, the uncle she hated, the man who rejected her soully because she is a girl. She couldn't control her gender at birth; why couldn't he see that? Uncle Viral was just a meanie. He e didn't like Liz-chama. She had to make him pay. She knew how. Even though she had only a small laser to defend her. It was more than enough. She took aim and fired, severing a critical connection. This caused Viral's mech to seize up. Viral wrestled with the controls as his mecha crashed to the ground, marrowly missing the diving Liz-chan. She stood up to see her Uncle climb out of his wrecked mecha. "Damn you, you bitch. The king will prevail!" Viral shouted. "Don't gove me any of your shit and stop telling me I'm not worth it because I am!" She replied. Liz-chan then shot Viral in the heart and killed him. She was now free of her tormentor; free to persue things from the way she saw fit; she could do what she wanted now.
Upon returning to the ship, everyone was overjoyed that Liz-chama had slain the champion of the Spiral King. Kamina ordered a special award - the first of its kind - be given to her. She was given the order of the drill first class. Yoko was seeing red over this. "How *DaRE* this bimbo make me look bad!" She thought. "I'll show her! I'll make her look bad!" Kamina gave Liz-chan the award and a hug. "You're one of the top stars here! When we defeat the Spiral King, anything you want will be yours!" He said. "Anything?" She thought. It was her dream to marry Kamina and spend every night holding those brad shoulders in her arms.
Well, the day came when they decided to attack the sit a dell of the Spiral King. They got ready and went down to the pot. "I won't lie to you. It will be rough. Some of us may not survive. But this is for freedom. This is for justice. This is for honor." He said. He raised a finger attached to a broad shoulder and smiled. "Today is the day. The era of oppression ends. Today is the day we start a new era of freedom!" He said. Liz-chama was lost in his eyes and didn't hear the order to move out until Kamina went. He entered the Gurren as Liz-chama entered her mech. They took off for the sit a dell. When they got there, the forces of the Spiral King were waiting for them. They were bomb bardted with laser fire and lots of explosions. The Spiral King's forces stood little chance against Liz-chama. She managed to destroy mech after mech single-handedly. The number that she would destroy was higher than the highest number with a name. The lasers came fast and furious, but Liz-chama dodged them all. Liz-chama saw a missle heading for the Gurren, and narrowly managed to destroy it in time. It was a missile that had Kamina's name on it. She wouldn't let him die no matter what the cost. Gurren-Lagann stormed the sit a dell and tore it open. They found the Spiral King trying to escape. Kamina, Simon, and Liz-chama all exited their mechs and ran after him. Yoko joinwd them as they managed to corner the Spiral King near a cliff. Yoko pointed her massive arm athe Spiral King. Unfortunately, the Spiral King had a laser with him. Both of them fired at the same time. He hit, her shot deflected off of him.
Yoko Ritona was now dead.
Now nothing stood between her and Kamina. Nor Kamina and the Spiral King. Kamina managed to shove the Spiral King off the cliff. "Don't let the population go over -" He said as he fell.
For the next few days, Kamina was very depressed. He sat around grieving over the loss of Yoko. Liz-chama was by his side, grieving along with him. "It isn't fair! Yoko had such promise! She and I promised to marry and have kids!" He said. "Kamina-kun don't be so down you're still have someone to love." She said. "Who?" He asked. "How about me?" She said. She put her arms around those broad, manly pecs of his and pulled them very close to her. She felt those delicious washboard abs on her stomach, and his strong back on her arms. "I love you, Kamina-kun. I always have. I want to marry and have a lot of kids too." Kamina paused for a moment. He felt good in Liz-chama's arms. She seemed to soothe his tormented soul with her warm embrace. Liz-chama kept Kamina in her arms and reassured him that everything would be fine - if only he returned the affection she had for him. When they parted, Kamina stared deeply into Liz-chama's deep, penetrating green eyes. "You've helped me a lot, Liz-chama. To be honest, I've been thinking a lot about you as well. I would be very honored to be your lover." He said. Liz-chama couldn't help herself; she pulled him close and affixed her lips to his. She felt very passionate as they kissed. She felt her heart skip a beeat and her toes curl as she kissed him. It was a feeling of pure ectasy when they parted lips. "I'm glad you feel this way. I feel a desire for your love deep inside me. I feel a sense of being whole when I'm in your arms, Kamina-kun..." She said. "I fell like that too." He replied. The two kissed again, and it was even better than the last one. On and on and on and on it went until night fell on them.
