Four Days Later
Makie-Chan was in her dorm room cooking up a storm and had the look of love in her eyes. "This is going to be my best bento over! He's sure to love it!" Makie-chan said. Konoka-chan walked by and stopped at the door. "Hey, Makie-chan. Who are you making a bento for?" Konoka-chan asked. "Your grandfather." Makie-chan tersely replied. "Oh. Well, he love gari in his bento." Konoka-chan replied. She didn't think that this bento was a labor of love. "Gari! Right! I'll get some!" Makie-chan replied. She went to the fridge and pulled out some gari, garnishing the eel with it. "That looks delicious. O-jiji is sure to love it." Konoka said. Makie smiled at this. "Arrogate, Konoka-chan." Makie-chan said.
Later That Day
Dean Konoe had had a rough morning. He spent it stomping out one office fire after another. He collapsed into his chair as his secretary entered. "Konoe-sensei, are you alight?" His secretary asked. "It's been a trying day for me. Well, it's lunchtime. I should figure out where to go." Dean Konoe-sensei said. "Well O-Konoe-sensei, one of the students has made you a bento." The secretary said. "Really? I hope it's eel with gari." Dean Konoe-sensei said. The secretary gave him the bento and a cup of tepid tea. Dean Konoe-sensei opened up the bento to see the eel with gari Makie so lovingly prepared for him. "Hmm... Interesting." Dean Konoe-sensei broke his chopsticks and smiled. "Itatakemasen!" He said before diving into the bento. The dean savored the bento, with its sweet sauce and delicius rice. Once he finished, Dean Konoe-sensei drank his tea and then read his fortune through the tea leaves. "Hmm... A vision of beauty has an interest in me." Dean Konoe-sensei said. "Interesting..." He pondered what this divination could mean, and thn there was a knock at the door. "Enter." Dean Konoe-sensei said. Takamichi-sensei entered and politely bowed to dean Konoe. "O-shacho-sensei, I have the staff's productivity reports." Takamichi-ssensei said. "Arrogate, Takamichi-sensei." Dean Konoke-sensei said. He knew he had work to do, and the tea reading would have to wait. He began to work on the paperwork before him.
Elsewhere
Makie-chan was finishing her own lunch and sensed. She knew that Dean Konoe-sensei was trying to find out who made him that delicious bento. Well, let him find out. I shouldn't be embarrassed by how I feel... Or should I? Makie thought. She contemplated this for a moment. How would he react? What would he say What would her good friend Konoka-chan say? She became embarassed about this. He could be very angry about this. After all, Makie-chan didn't know if his wife was still alive or not, or if he was married. She decided that if he found out, that would be fine, come what may. Makie-chan hoped that she could find some way to win over his heart... She wanted him badly; he just seemed so different from other men. Guys her age were so immature... She then decided to make another bento, this time, with Kobe beef. She set out the soy sauce and some other ingredients for the beef. She mixed it all together, and then let the beef marinate ovrnight in the fridge.
