(no subject)
I am back to 5 days a week at the nursery. Therefore I now bike every Monday and Thursday. Mondays are Stoney Creek Mountain bike trails. thursdays are new trails/adventure? Today I tried Bloomer park trail from Rochester. Didn't care much for it all. Too many bugs. the mud was fun though. I still have to go outside and hose off my bike. I finished at Bloomer park and rode out down john r. to Avon to rochester to east st. to letica where I parked. At least 6-7 miles today. So I went to Bike shop to get new bar ends, which worked awesomely today. But instead of $20 paid it was more like $40. My gear/brake cables were rusted and was told that after a few more gear shifts, my cable would have gone. kaboom. not good. so another $20 in parts was worth it. next trails to try still this summer: Addison oaks, Bald mtn 1 and 2, Cannonsburg Park (GR area if i get out there), and ?. My cousin Julie is going to Dave matthews band concert on tuesday with me. it works out cause she is letting me spend the night at her place since I have work at 8am the next day. I got my preordered DMB discs from meadowbrook 8.23.95. It is great so far. I found out that on July 14, 2006 (Friday?) OAR is at meadowbrook. As of two nights ago, Pavillion tickets still available for $30 each. I think I will buy tickets this weekend. Hopefully be able to meet a girl and have a date for it by then. Well I have to get up for work tomorrow by 5:30am and still clean my bike and weed a spot in the backyard so later. I took long enough to update. From now I'll try to update after Thursday rides to evaluate new trails of course this depends on the weather. if you know of other local/semi-local trails let me know.
