"...I've been waking up from my dreams feeling emptier than usual. I wonder what I'm really leaving behind when I return to reality." - Will

NEWSFLASH!!! Harry Potter's release date has been moved up from July 17 to JULY 15th!!! Everyone rejoice!!! At least that's what Entertainment Weekly told me in their summer movie preview issue :D

In other news, the weather today was nice and warm. I guess that, and the lack of good movies, was the reason the theatre was so dead. Marlene was kind enough to keep me until past midnight, so I used my time well by reading books from lost and found. Anyway, as I was walking down the giant hill to get home I took in a deep breath and I smelled the sweet scents of summer. It's just around the corner, dontcha know. I always knew that summer was coming when I lived in Valley Center because you could smell the orange blossoms in the air when the weather got warmer. I lived near orange groves for most of my life, and every time I smell the orange blossoms I remember fond memories of my childhood. The last time I smelled orange blossoms was when I went to California Adventure cuz they have orange trees there. I often have dreams of Valley Center, even though I haven't lived there in 6 years. That place was magical to me, especially the places where I lived. When we first moved to VC from Escondido we lived on a ladies ranch and our house was hidden under giant trees and we lived next to a creek. During the summer we would go exploring and catch tadpoles. At night time the frogs would perfom a symphony of croaks which would lull me to sleep. Once, after a particularly heavy rainy season, I went down to the creek and walked along the edges and I found a huge shell, which was weird since we were no where near the ocean. Me and Rosanna would go play on the hay stacks and pretend that we lived in a palace. Sometimes when I was sad, I would go under the bridge (after it had been rebuilt) and hang out there and read the graffiti on the concrete walls. After living there for six years we moved to another house in VC that was on top of a huge hill. We had the most perfect view of VC from up there. We were so high up we were actually above the fog. I would look out the window and there was a sea of clouds with the tips of the surrounding hills looking like islands. My fondest memory of living there was one night when there was no moon and I looked up at the sky and it was so full of stars, you could actually see a river of stars, the milky way and it looked like it went on forever. One night me and Rosanna jumped outside of our window at night and talked about random things, and watched the moon rise behind a mountain. On 4th of July we all went outside and watched the fireworks from Harrah's Casino and the high school right from our backyard. We had the perfect view of Palomar Mountain when it snowed, and on a clear day it looked so beautiful from our bedroom window... very beautiful memories. Then we moved to San Marcos, and all those picturesque scenery's disappeared and were replaced by apartments and restaurants. -_- I hope to one day live somewhere rural like Valley Center, so I can see the stars at night, hear the frogs, enjoy the quiet, smell the orange blossoms and know that summer is coming.
