Urges (not just the good kind)
I watched Knowing with Alice today because we were avoiding hanging out with Marlene (not really) and it was better than I thought it was going to be. It's the kind of movie I love, because of the subject which is sci-fi/outerspace/end of the world/other cool stuff. It scared me. I was holding Alice's hand because I was freaking out and also because my hands where cold... but seriously, half way through the movie we held hands and never let go. She was kinda scared too cuz we were in the first row and the sound was really good in #8 and OH BEN it added to the movie. GO WATCH IT NOW! Or die, cuz P Diddy (I think he's puff daddy again) wants you to.
So I've gotten this urge to bake lately. I used to be a Chefs assistant in the kitchen of an old folks home and my sole purpose was to prepare the sandwhich fridge, re-stock the salad bar and make desserts! I made GIANT cakes to feed 30+ people and this was every day. The flavors varied from spice cake, strawberry, chocolate, carrot cake (always made from scratch), cookies of all flavors, puddings. I had a blast working that job! I've always been good at following a recipe and just having a good eye for cooking and baking. I don't really like eating the desserts I made but I loved seeing peoples reactions to them! Bringing smiles to their faces warms my heart so. I think I am going to make a cake, chocolate with some sort of delicious berry topping MMM. OMG it should have kiwis! I looove kiwis. Chocolate kiwi cake it is! Be on the look out for that deliciousness coming to a mouth near you.
In other news, I bought Alice the yarn to make our Harry Potter scarfs seeing as we are only 116 days away from the movie! Im gonna keep nagging at her until she finishes them. Mine is the first one, naturally, since I am the one who is pushing her to make them. She is a good little slave friend. Friend slave hehehehe :D dont tell her I said that D:
Ive been drinking this lemonade that I probably shouldnt be drinking. If I die, I want you all to know that I will miss you all! Alice, you were a good slave friend. Edward, I've told you I love you many times... but only in my head, for such beautiful words just cannot pass through my lips and if they did, Alice would die of jealousy. Hmm, this reminds me of that conversation we had with Casey today about his dog. Boy was that weird and slightly awkward. I don't know if it's such a good idea to admit to a guy that you would die if THEY died... but then again, Casey brightens up anyones day, especially Alice's, which is why she would die if Casey died if his dog died. The End.
New song obsession! This was played in The Knowing but most importantly, it's the entire soundtrack to The Fall which, as awesome people know, is a beautiful movie. Listen in!
