So Sharon and I had our wedding ceremony on sunday. Despite doing everything at the last minute (partially because of my thesis and partially because we are both given to procrastination) our friends all pulled together and everything came out very well. Pictures will go up eventually at
http://wedding.invariant.org However, since we ultimately decided not to have an officiant at our wedding ceremony (didn't want to deputize a family member and the professional officiants were either too religious or too slimy) we weren't legally married on sunday. Do to a series of misunderstandings we ended up getting a marriage licensce in LA for $70 but failed to get married before we had to leave. So this morning Sharon and I went on down to the records department in Alameda and got legally hitched. We convinced Albert to come down as our witness (so he's now our official marriage recorder) and he took a few snapshots on his iphone. Anyway as far as I'm concerned Sharon and I were married on Sunday the 20th but now the paperwork is done as well.
