Quick update...
Just a quick update:
Our mortgage application file has been sent to the underwriters for final approval before closing. I've been told that there should not be a problem with it - but I can't help but worry until I hear the "you're approved" words...
Yesterday, Mark and I got a new little bundle of joy. He was found living under a car in the apt complex of a coworker, and she asked me if I'd be willing to take him so that he didn't have to go to the SPCA. I asked Mark - knowing we'd planned on getting 1 or 2 after the move - and I picked him up after work yesterday.
His name is Baile.
Etymology of the name: he's got big bat-ears, and no way would he have the name Dumbo...and our favorite Batman actor is Christian Bale. And, since we 'bailed' him out of having to go to the pound, it stuck. He's a bitty-bit, prolly barely old enough to be w/o a momma. He's a real cutie-pie! And much better since he's been de-ticked with a flea/tick bath. (poor thing was riddled with ticks)
Anyway - I'm gonna run on the fact that the folks who know their business feel our application is solid. My new address, after August 1, will be:

Any 'housewarming' gifts - please, Lowe's, WalMart, or Target gift cards! We have enough 'stuff' for a house, it's the little things that we'll need to get/replace. (no, I'm not asking - just giving options to anyone who cares to know)
Ok - I'm back to workies. Deadline for fall enrollment files is Monday, August 4, and I've got a BUNCH of files to manage until then!!
