The fun part about Dilan is that he really ISN'T crazy. Or rather, he does insane things in the most sane way possible. I'm not sure if there's a term for that, but there you go. Come to think of it, he's the exact opposite of Braig, who tends to do sane things in the most insane way possible. What a pair.

I really did not want Cloud and Leon to come across as anything romantic or sexual, so if they did then I messed that up... I really wanted to portray them as two men, both with their own private issues and pains and ways of dealing with it, but who both put all that aside to get the job done. There's a lot of trust there and a lot of respect and I think that's what I wanted to get across. Serious stuff aside, I really, REALLY enjoyed writing them in these roles, so I may have to revisit the HBPD at some point. And more Captain Cid. We already know how we both feel about sexy Captain Cid.

Yeah... I'm torn between feeling like the ending was a cop-out and that it fits the tone of the fic. I'll most likely leave it as-is, at least for now.
