DARK MONTH PREPARATION POST
Hello once again Ladies and Gentlemen. It seems that time has once again brought us to that most awesome time of the year - Autumn. It is now September (well almost. I usually do this post on September 1st but I'm not going to have computer access that way, so you guys are getting it a bit early) and once again, it's time for me to start planning my annual Dark Month project!
The original idea belongs to the wonderful kacfrog711 who ever so generously allows me to borrow it every year.
Most of you know the concept behind Dark Month already, but for those of you who don't allow me to offer an explanation. For the duration of the entire month of October, I will be producing and posting one piece of "dark" fanfiction a day. I only start working on each request when I wake up the day of and then I'll post it before I go to bed. Last year I added a little bit of reader participation and it went over so well that I've decided to bring it back again this year, but with a twist!
So here are the rules:
1. This is open to anyone and everyone. Please only post one prompt so that everyone gets a chance to request something. If we draw closer to the month of October and I still have openings, I may allow people to make multiple requests.
2. Comment with the day that you want, ONE character and ONE ONE-WORD prompt.
2a. Characters may be requested up to two times. Meaning that I will take two Xigbar requests, two Joker requests, etc etc. No cheating and requesting a fic with "Bruce Wayne" or "Braig" when "Batman" or "Xigbar" has already been posted twice!
2b. One-word prompts only please. Hyphenated words are okay unless-you-do-something-like-this. ^^;; That's cheating!
3. The prompts are encouraged to be "dark" as this is a "dark month" project. Traditional themes like "blood" and "darkness" are fine, but you can totally get creative with this! I know you guys have awesome imaginations, so I'm looking forward to getting some crazy stuff! However, I won't stop you from requesting something like "fuzzy" if you want. It just means I have to work harder to keep it dark!
