This weekend Matt and I went and hung out with my parents for a late Mother's Day/early Father's Day weekend. Our gift to them was to take them to the A's game yesterday. My dad loves baseball, and while my mom isn't nuts about it, she really likes going to A's games because she went a lot when she was younger.
It was a hit. I never paid much attention to seats before, so i was worried that they would not approve of the seats. Also, baseball is not Matt's thing, so I was worried that he might not have fun. Well, success on both accounts! The A's beating the Red Sox probably helped though.
There was a kid who was probably 3 sitting next to Matt. He was so cute. Even though he was dressed in Red Sox attire, he cheered for everyone. He also had a glove, and kept telling Matt and I that when a ball comes our way, he was going to catch it. He kept saying "ok". "I'm going to catch it in my glove ok." It wasn't a question. It was so awesome.
