so much cleaning..

So it's taken over a week, but I think that I've finally managed to organize my room and make everything fit. This was no small task, as I don't have a lot of storage space, and own waaay too much crap. But I'm finally done. And I even did about 8 loads of laundry yesterday. Today was spent returning phone calls, sending emails, and faxing some forms that were due a while ago. All in all, I was fairly productive today. And I looked up how far Cabin Leaders is from where my cousin's wedding is taking place, and it should take about an hour and half to get there, so I don't have to leave as early as I originally thought. Hopefully I can steal my dad's car for the weekend so that it all works out easiest, but I'll have to talk to him about it tomorrow when I have dinner with him.

Now I'm off to read through all of my information for Nicaragua, as I've done little more than skim it before now. Then perhaps I'll review some Spanish.

Oh, I found a mix tape today, and that made me happy. The handwriting looks like Monica's, which isn't surprising, and it's Jimmy Eat World's Bleed American and New Found Glory's Sticks and Stones. I'm thinking this was from the end of freshman year. Since we're not supposed to bring cd players, perhaps I'll break out my walkman and bring some tapes to listen to on the plane and such. It's funny how fast we can forget what it was like before the time of cd burners...
