I was in a terrible mood when I posted that survey yesterday, however I did want to say that I am kind of amazed that it turned out the way it did. Met Studies is basically a combination of sociology and anthropology. Perhaps I've finally stumbled onto something that works for me. Although, I still have absolutely no idea what I'll do with my degree, but that's another story. I think I've also decided that I'm not going to go for the full minor in Education because it would really only help me if I do my grad school here, and I just don't know if I want to do that. I'm going to look into the program at Fordham where the Dept. of Ed pays for the masters, and I think I'll take one or two education classes just to see how they go, but I just don't want to have to cram in those extra 18 credits if they're not going to transfer anyway. I did discover, however, that I might inadvertently wind up with a minor in history after next semester. That's kind of cool.
Easter weekend was... busy... but there were a couple of funny moments. With my grandmother getting slightly senile, although I suppose that really hasn't made much of a difference, she's always good for a few good lines throughout the evening. Next weekend is Maggie's communion, so I'll get to see everyone from that side of the family which is exciting. I'm not going to think about all the work that I have to get done in order to make next weekend possible, but I know that I will get it done. If I work really hard for the next few days, I'll be a much happier person come next week. Besides, half of my things are due this Thursday, so I have no choice in some of these matters. Oh wells, I used to thrive under pressure. Let's just hope that still holds true.
I've already begun to outline my psych project, and I got 3 books from Bobst for research purposes. The paper has to be less than 10 pages, so it shouldn't be too bad to get through. The Ethics journal I'm putting off until tomorrow because I want to pick up the graded first half of it and make sure I'm doing it correctly. Besides, I only have a few entries this time, as opposed to the 7 of the first half of the semester. Today I handed in my fourth Cities commentary, so only 1 more left due next week, and an extra credit that I have to go to a panel discussion about the Middle East tomorrow evening for. So all in all, I'm not in too bad shape. My Media case-study is going to be a bitch, but I'll get through it somehow (I hope).
8 more days of classes, 2 days of finals, and a written final due by the end of the semester. Let the countdown begin.
