I solemnly swear that I am up to no good...

So as of August 30, I will be in LONDON!!! I applied to study abroad kind of on a whim, not thinking that I would get in, and lo and behold, I get an email this afternoon congratulating me on my acceptance. I can hardly flippin believe it. And I find out that Maegen is going to be in ROME this fall as well. Ahhhh!!! So much excitement right now. I can hardly contain myself. I've filled out lots of forms and looked lots of things up online, and tomorrow I go and drop off the $300 deposit so that I will officially be enrolled, and I am so unbelievably happy right now. I also have to go and cancel my housing for next semester, but I want to ask them about what that means for the Spring when I return. Perhaps there's a chance that I can get back on the Explorations floor that I was originally intended for. We shall see. At this point, I don't even care where I end up in the Spring, because in the fall I'll be in LONDON.

This means that the schedule I had all planned out is garbage, but that's okay. There are so many classes that I'd like to take in London, but I have to choose. I think I have them figured out, but I have to talk to the Education people and find out if the Ed class there counts towards the minor. If not, then I'm taking either Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Stage or Modern Drama in Performance in London. Then there's the required 2 credit Sociology class, City Planning: Social and Economic Aspects in London, Ideology & Urban Design: Builders of Britain, and A History of London. AND I have a week long fall break. This is just too amazing for words. And I've already looked up to see how difficult/expensive it would be to travel to Madrid... yes, I am a dork. But come on, how could I not. We're going to be in Europe, obviously that means I must bother Mike at least once. =D

As Maegen said, "our lives = pretty sweet sometimes"... I must agree with this.
