SNOW!
I was just getting ready in my bathroom when I heard my dad knock on the door to tell me that school was going to be delayed 2 hours. I had no idea what he was talking about, then he explained it was because of snow. That's right, kiddies, Portland's finally having a snow day! First of the year, though a little delayed. I looked outside and I think the amount of snow merits an entire day off - there are a good 3 inches and 2 inches is the minimum to get school canceled, I think. Ah well, I take what I can get.
I'm sitting at my window seat looking out over the city, blanketed in thick, untouched white snow. So pristine. Soon there will be footprints and melting and it'll get all ugly, but for now it's quite pretty.
