me: mom wants to know when you'll be coming up for christmas
mlblanke: 21st - 27th
me: mom says "she's leaving the 27th?"
mlblanke: yes, why?
me: oh, you didn't catch the tone
mlblanke: confused...
mlblanke: I'll also be skiing all day on the 26th
me: mom says "i'm some impressed"
me: "is she afraid she's gonna be bored here or something"
mlblanke: I... thought 6 days was long enough?

me: she said "no, i'm calling matthew. because her plans are set whether one likes them or not."
