Next Year, Baby
When I look back at 2008, it feels like I lived for five years in these twleve months. I just passed too many milestones and historic markers (both personal and universal) to really wrap my head around this year or to sum it up with a few words, so I'm not going to even try.
Normally this time of year, I quote song lyrics. I didn't do so at Christmas, since I posted fic instead, but I would hate to abandon the tradition completely. So...

Next year, things are gonna change
Gonna drink less beer, and start all over again
Gonna read more books, gonna keep up with the news
Gonna learn how to cook, spend less money on shoes

What are my resolutions?
1. To get everywhere (including bed) a little earlier.
2. To excercise more and to avoid the candy machines at work (harder since they moved them around the corner from my office)
3. To read and write more and just putz around online less.
Pretty basic stuff, but isn't the point of resolutions to relfect on where you're going and what you can do to make yourself a little better.
