Year's End Review

Dec 31, 2006 00:54

So 2006 is almost over.  I’m actually sorry to see it go.  It was a pretty momentous year for me!  But rather than go off on some long rambly monologue about everything that would be far too personal to post and rather boring for everyone but me, I thought I would put together a “soundtrack” for 2006.  These are the songs that I listened to without ( Read more... )

Ahhh, excellent choices. If one could wear out a CD, the Garden State Soundtrack would definitely be one that I would need to re-purchase over and over again. And I'm a firm believer in that you can never go wrong with some Beatles. Now you're making me want to scroll through the iPod and listen to the White Album.

Happy & healthy New Year to your and yours, Quags.

Right back at you Gatz! :-)

And actually... check out the Beatles Anthology 3, if you haven't already. I was never one for the White Album. We were more Sargent Pepper's/Abbey Road people at my house. But the Anthology 3 has gorgeous versions of the songs. Some are quite different from the finall version. For instance, the Anthology's "Helter Skelter" is this really hip, classic rock. Nothing psychodelic about it!

Happy New Year Quaggy! I hope 2007 is even better.

I can see some CD purchases in my future... I don't know most of those songs :-(

Happy New Year, Ally!! You should definately pick up the Garden State soundtrack! Definately! (Let me know if they don't have it in Australia.) Even if you never see the movie it's a fantastic album. (But see the movie too! It's terrific!)
