Anime Boston

Friday was a MEH, so usually when that happens Saturday makes up for it...hopefully. Friday morning I had to catch a 6:50am flight then stuff started to happen where I didn't know if I should have risked not going to AB. In the end I went ahead on the flight and by the time I got there they were finishing boarding. Some people criticize for arriving at the airports so early, well the main reason why is if something happens I have a cushion to do fix it.

Boston has a weird metro system. What seems to be a long chain of subway or elevated system turned to be a total mess. The Silver Line is a bus that takes you from the airport then it emulates as a underground subway system. The green line is a rail trolley that can go underground. Then there's the red line which is your regular subway system. The only hard part I had was finding where the hell was the Silver Line stop was at in front of the airport.

Friday was a meh because there was not much going on and really it reminded me of Saturday of Nekocon. So far costume wish, nothing out of the usual. It seems to this point it's been, "If you have seen one con you've seen them all." But enough with the rant, I'm out of Raleigh, nothing thinking about Animazement (even though I've already ranted about my past grr *hits himself*), and I'm hundreds of miles from work.

Hopefully I'll see some kick ass cosplay that's worth taking pictures, because there's been a lot of half-assed cosplays, traps, or it just didn't catch my eye.

The convention center is another story to tell. The center is three floors connected to a mall that's connected to the Sheraton. It's great seeing the normal people give the "wtf" look.

Last night I had to miss the Cherry Blossom dance (which I heard kinda sucked anywho). I was already in the suit when I realized I had to go to Boston-Logan airport to guide Kurt through the metro. I felt really awkward wearing the suit all the way to the airport. One lady kept starring at me. I think I scared another by holding my flash which was connected to the battery pack in my back pocket but they were relived when they saw my camera underneath my jacket. When they did see the camera the guy started to talk about cameras; however, the next stop was for me to get off (South Station).

Last night I didn't have a good night sleep. I was in a 3.5' x 2.5' sleeping area trying to keep warm. I was going to cancel my reservation tonight, but I'm going to keep it.

Well I hope they still have one thing I was interested in the dealer's room yesterday XD.
