Savin frowned to himself, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. He glanced at his home ec partner, Dylan. Dylan just raised an eyebrow at him, giving Savin a quizzical look. “What’s up?”

I see Dylan's brilliant cooking skills are on full display here. He amused me, as did, well, everyone. Hah, Devin and Xan's Mary Sue Eye Battle.

Savin, you are unlikely to beat Wes, who is an Agreeable Woman and thus has magical cooking powers. Also, since Wes and Xan are teamed up and Xan also is a wannabe chef who is good enough to make his own damn waffle recipe? You're at a disadvantage, Savin. If there's ever another Home Ec scene, they should make waffles, haha. Devin's cooking method of "dump random stuff into the mix" reminded me of how he made a "mixed drink" in I Love You, Man.

And a funeral is not really a...standard venue for a date, lol. It's a good thing the undercover Prince in his class has a thing for Dylan, too, because he fails at Regular People stuff so much. Oh Jazz, there is no need to be jealous -- Dylan doesn't have a thing for Savin and Savin doesn't have one for Dylan. Those two are Just Friends and perfectly happy that way, and Dylan has his eye on the new kid, anyway.

And Jazz, I know EXACTLY why your stomach feels weird whenever Savin looks at you -- you're crushing. Hard. Yes, you like guys. Like that. You'll figure it out soon enough, haha.

Savin probably could beat Wes if Wes weren't handed an awesome partner AND if Dylan weren't Savin's, lol. Savin's very, very competitive. And lol, Sarah mentioned that about Devin.

lol, it's not. I don't think Savin thought of it as a date, but he did want to use it as an excuse to get to know Jazz a little better. Kinda. lol

I think Jazz is actually about to figure it out because I don't think he can really be in denial that much longer. Whether he remains in denial about Savin feeling the same is a totally different story. ;)

Savin wants to believe he could beat Wes, but I'm not so sure. Wes is pretty Agreeable. Too bad they can't have a one-on-one cook off and settle this once and for all.

I think Savin's so damn competitive that he probably would find a way to beat Wes, just once. At least once. lololol. That's just how he is.

I'm sure Savin isn't, but I know Savin. He'd make it his life mission to beat Wes just once. He'd be happy with that. For the most part. lololol

I kind of want to write fic of them going head-to-head. Because I can see Wes doing what we talked about over IM - letting Savin win, but doing it convincingly. I mean, he's managed to convince Devin he sucks at SimFighting for like 5 years now (oh wait, that's just in the fic I didn't write yet).

Yeah, once I finish the Savin/Mitchel fic, I guess I'll just go to writing holiday fics every time Devin pisses me off so much I can't work on my book rewrite. :-p
