My day at HHS!!!
I went back to the Halls of Havana High, and it was a rather interesting visit.
They dedicated the field to Coach Brock today. It was such a numbing experience. I still cannot believe he is no longer with us. It was like going back to his funeral all over again. His family was very touched and emotional. Ms. Brock and I shared a hug and just remembered what an amazing man Mike was. I still miss him so much, but if I ever feel like having a moment with him, I can go to the field at HHS and pay my respects. I know we all miss Coach brock. If you get the opportunity, please visit HHS and visit the plaque that was made out for him. Its a wonderful, well-deserved measure of appreciation. I love you Brock!
After the dedication, came the College Forum. it was pretty fucking weird to be a college student giving HS kids advice on going to college. lol. I feel like an old fart. I bumped into a couple of my old pals.... Carol and Christy Suarez, Luzmary, Darlene, Ana, leidys, and a couple of others. I was rather dissapointed at the turn out. No one showed up. lol. I was like, "what the fuck? No one wants to go to college?" lol. But, I hope that we were able to influence those who went.
Dr. Kesselman stopped by to say hi. I still have so many mixed feelings towards that guy. he is one of the worst men I have ever met. But he is brilliant, and business savy. I mean, I resepct him and his knowledged of the way things work, but the guy has no fucking heart. I dont like that shit. Anyways, he wants me to go back to HHS to talk to the Silver Knight nominees, and give them advice on how to handle their interview. I swear to God. I am gonna be 30 and the Silver Knight is still gonna be part of my life. lol.
I stopped by the drama room, too. I miss it, man. I mean, not so much the actual group, because towards my senior year, I wasnt into many of the kids. They were just annoying. But I do miss the hell out of Graff, and doing the shows at HHS. I wouldnt wanna go back, but I do miss it.
I cant wait for Xmas break!
