Their actual hearts? But how...who's doing it?

Yes, their actual hearts. I know people shouldn't be able to survive without them, but the magical nature of the theft will keep their bodies alive.

It was caused by someone affected badly by the curse. I can assure you they would normally never wish to harm anyone.

...The tea party curse? Hard to see how that can affect someone bad enough they'd steal peoples hearts.

Do you have Chuck's?

No, not that curse. The one in which people desired things that didn't belong to them.

Chuck...I can look. A young man?

If it was just the result of that curse, why didn't they just give back the hearts at midnight when they recovered?

Yeah, please look for it. He's not acting like himself at all.

The hearts being stolen wasn't caused directly by the curse, but by the person affected by the curse. The curse didn't have control over what happened.

Alright. I think I may have it here. Do you know where he is so I can return it to him?

((OOC: just to make sure, Chuck-mun wanted it returned today? I couldn't find anything on the OOC post either way, so I wanted to be sure I wouldn't be contradicting them on anything. <3))

Then that person needs to be stopped. If you know who they are, you should tell the police.

He should be at his apartment.

[ooc; I have no idea, you'd have to talk to Chuck-mun about that, sorry.]

They have stopped. The reason I was able to find the hearts was that they gave them back. The missing hearts have been misplaced, but I will be able to find them soon.

Then I'll be there soon.

((OOC: Okies, no prob. Worse comes to worse, I'll just assume Tutu brought the wrong heart by mistake.))

We should still tell the police. What if it happens again? Someone could have been seriously hurt!

Thank you.

If the police punished every innocent person that did something wrong because of a curse, almost all of us would have been charged with a crime by now.

If they didn't stop when the curse stopped, then they aren't innocent. What if they'd actually killed people? Would you still be saying they're innocent?

They did stop when the curse stopped. They were too shaken and shocked by what had happened to return the hearts directly, but they did release them as soon as they realized what had happened.

Your anger is understandable and it's not a bad feeling. But I cannot condemn someone who is truly sorrowful for their actions.

I'm not angry, I'm worried. What if it happens again? What if you can't find all the hearts? What if...what if you put them back wrong?

I won't put them back wrong. I've done this before.

It might happen again. It might not. I don't know. That would be up to what the Deities decide to curse us with. And I won't rest until I find all the hearts--I promise.
