[Ahiru is sitting out on the steps of the Opera, resting her chin in her hands and frowning.]

Today is a curse day, isn't it? It's sort of a weird one. I don't know if I get it. [She tilts her head and watches a random NPC run by with pokeballs in his hands.] I guess it's a good thing I'm not affected? It does look sort of fun, though. Like having ( Read more... )

[Walking near the opera house, Yori was feeling guilty. Guilty about treating Yuuki-chan so badly during the last day or so and about how she acted towards everyone. She had just left the apartment with some weird balls that she had woken up next to and had no idea where she was heading. Until of course she ended up near the Opera House and saw a girl sitting on the steps.]

"Ano...is she someone I can catch? I know I'm supposed to catch pokemon with these balls, but I think that's just mean. Maybe I'll just try to talk with her.."

[Cautiously heading towards the steps she pauses a few feet away from where the girl is sitting and stares at her, observing her behaviour.]

[Ahiru looks up when she sees the other girl and sits up straight, smiling.]

Oh! ...Hello! Can I help you?

You..you're a pokemon right?

[Yori is surprised at the girl's response.]

A what...? [Pauses and tilts her head.] Pokeyman? Poke...mon. Pokemon. Well...maybe?

Catch...? [looks around, then points to herself] You want to catch me?

[Feeling unsure and shy, Yori just nods at the girl. That is what she's supposed to do but she doesn't feel right putting anyone into a small ball.]

Um...[Ahiru laughs a little nervously.] I'm not sure if Fakir would like that.

Is he a pokemon as well? [Yori has come a little bit closer, still nervous about it all.]

I don't think so? He's a writer.

I see...

[She's trying to think of a nice way to catch her. Yori knows that all she has to do is throw the ball, but she doesn't think it's fair to the pokemon to do that. Maybe she could just ask?]

I'm sorry but could I catch you? I'm supposed to catch pokemon to train them but I really would like more to just be friends..

Friends?

[Ahiru hesitates. Fakir will be angry if she lets someone take her, after what happened with Aion...and Drosselmeyer might still be around. But she doesn't seem like either of those, she seems really nice and friendly. So...]

Well...okay! It sounds like it'd be fun!

[Smiling at the girl and happy that she agreed, Yori takes out one of the balls she found this morning.]

Ano...I'm supposed to use this to catch you..

Do you mind standing still for a moment? I'm going to try and see if this works.

[She takes the ball and throws it, quite badly, in Ahiru's direction.]

[Ahiru nods and stands still--except for maybe leaning a little to the side to make sure it hits her. She gasps when she's put inside the ball. It's so weird, being inside here! She goes to the side of the ball and cups her hands around her mouth.]

Um...I don't have to stay in here, right?

[Somewhat surprised when the ball actually hit, Yori was even more surprised when the girl disappeared. Going over the ball, she gently picked it up.]

Of course not! ..I can let you out in a little bit..

Is it very uncomfortable in there?

Oh, no! It's actually not that bad...I just prefer being able to see the sky.
