[ He stepped inside quietly, shutting the door behind him and then propping his back up against it and folding his arms over his chest. He then glanced toward the redhead, nodding lightly in a small form of greeting. But he wanted to get straight to the point. ]

[ He closed his eyes, leaning more of his weight against the door. ] You think you haven't already? There's no way of escaping that in close relationships. I would rather you're completely honest, regardless of what you think might be hurtful.
[ She had a feeling he didn't quite understand. She took in a deep breath, bowing her head down, fidgeting with her hands nervously. ]
No, I mean...I'm...pushing you away because I'm worried that something I'm going to do will hurt you. I... [another deep breath] What I said about the kiss...was a lie. It wasn't "just to see what it feels like".
