(no subject)
2005 rocked my socks. it's been my best year... so far. so many risks taken. nothing lost. lots of tears, but what the heck, i'm happy now, aren't i? and the tears made everything all the more worth it.
new year's eve, i spent the day at my dad's condo. drank some of his chardonnay (did i spell that right?), vodka, sake and cognac. i can't believe he let me. i caught him in a good mood, i think. and i'm very persuasive/manipulative. haha. i liked the vodka and cognac. we watched intolerable cruelty. catherine zeta-jones is hot. i wanted to watch dirty dancing, but jica didn't want to, so there. we had di'marks for dinner. i love their cheesecake. it's weird, because i used to really hate cheesecakes, but now i like them.
we had mass at 9, then we went to watch the fireworks at the fort. my favorite fireworks were the ones whose sparks lingered in the air for a long time. beautiful.
now, kitt surprised me with his own secret stash of cognac. i love him. he really is my favorite cousin. so let's make a toast, shall we?
