[Hiccup kept himself busy during the blackout with some projects--one of which is sitting in front of Ahiru's door this morning, wrapped in a thick piece of paper with a short note (that, unfortunately, is in Viking runes oops).
The object inside the paper carved is from wood, which you may or may not deduce since it looks like ivory, and polished with oils and wax that leave it glossy and smooth. It's shape is a bird. :> A thick leather cord runs through it--it's a necklace that can be hung up just about anywhere!]
