Infuriating!!
That BBV 'reality tv' rape trial I posted about last week has been shown on UK tv. I didn't see it, and I must say considering the reports on it by purplelizzy and the the comments on the guardian web site I'm glad I didn't.
Not only does it not give a realistic representation of a rape trial (the idea being that it would expose the irregularities in the process) the celebrity jurors say the most completely idiotic, irrational and ignorant things. This show, it appears, will do more harm then good.
I can't comment any more as I didn't see it. But even so.... much finger clenching and futile ranting...
