(no subject)
So I haven't updated in awhile and alot has been going on lately. I went to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night and I can't stop saying what a great movie it was. I absolutely loved everybit of it. I can't wait to go see it again, but I think the soonest that can happen is going to be Friday. I was a little frustrated when my family went without me tonight. The one thing I can say about the movie though is that I still think that Marylin Manson would have done a better job as WIlly Wonka. In the book and the first movie Willy Wonka is not supposed to be a likable character, whereas Johnny Depp turns out to be likable, if not in the beginning definitely by the end. I don't think that he did a bad job as in the role, I just feel in the end he was to sentimental.
I have been working some this summer, but as I find myself saying often with this job, not as much as I would like. There are weeks when I have almost 30 hours and others when I barely work 16. I need more cash flow than 16 hours a week. One of the girls quit this week though so I am hoping for soem of her hours til the new girl they are hiring gets them. My manager found out two weeks ago she is pregnant!!! I am very excited for her and it is kinda fun listening to her and her husband going through all the baby stuff and starting to plan.
My parents are driving me insane, I am counting the days til I get to move out of here. Jess is moving to an apartment to escape her parents this weekend and I am so jealous I can't move in with her. I am working on painting the dining room table I got for the apartment, but with how busy I have been this week it is just sitting there right now. I have all of 4 boxes packed and the move out date is August 10th. Time is creeping up on me faster than I can handle.
Not to mention the job starts August 16th and I have the MCAT on August 20th! August is going to be a very busy month but I am hoping to get out of there for Homecoming in September and visit a few friends in NC. I talked to Todd and Lauren some tonight and I really miss the both of them. The lease on the house is up this month but I would really enjoy going back down there to live rather than being here. OK no more of this.
