Fuck you, livejournal and your pink hearty theme. I want to run a dozen roses through a food processor and then burn the remains with a dozen hallmark teddy bears. Love is something that should be appreciated, in what measure we have it, every day. It's not right to set aside one day of the year to make people nervous about getting the right stupid gifts, envious of those with more stupid gifts than they have, and lonely without their own stupid gifts. This holiday promotes love in the same way that the easter bunny marks the alleged resurrection of Jesus. It's crap. Protest it. I will.
