so i've had the most medically interesting three months that i've had in my whole life so i decided to share!!!

december, i had fat people surgery to make my stomach smaller and make me not hungry all the time, and, in theory, make people like me better. i've lost 55lbs since then but it doesn't really count because i went on an eating binge prior to the surgery, knowing i would have to give up most foods, and gained 20 lbs. ^____^ so really i've only lost 35 lbs.

THEN, GUYS. THEN.

last... thursday i started having severe abdominal pain. pregnancy-caliber abdominal pain. i woke edward up in the middle of the night crying in pain, so he went back to bed. later, when i tried again, we went to the ER, where my doctor, bjorn, told me i was completely healthy! and he did so with a smirk that suggested i was a lying, greedy-for-morphine drug addict. (the morphine was really good though.)

then, over the next two days i experienced similar and worsening abdominal pain, so i went to a different ER by my mommy's house where they told me i needed immediate gall bladder surgery or i would DIE!!

not really but they said it needed to come out pretty quickly. i was in the hospital for three days and the doctor said my gall bladder was gangrenous. GANGRENOUS. so i got a nice prescription for vicodin which i have been abusing that i still have one refill for.

so then TODAY, while dancing because i was so healthy, i got a call from my mom that she got a letter in the mail that said something along the lines of "we've heard about your positive hepatitis c test" and... WHAT?

i probably caught it from my dad, although i can't recall him ever bleeding into my open mouth. it's also possible that i got it from all that indiscriminate sex i've been having. either way, it's apparently possible that it is a false positive result so i have to go in this weekend to get an actual blood test done. if i am positive it means that in twenty years i'll actually need to worry about it.

hepatitis is a slow moving virus. it takes forEVER for symptoms to even show.

also, i've been on antibiotics for my gall bladder thingie, and they make birth control ineffective, so i haven't been taking it, and then i forgot and had sex with eddie, so now i'm possibly and hopefully pregnant.

(taylor's friend had a baby and it is the absolute cutest thing i have ever laid eyes on and i am so inexplicably jealous that i am ready to throw away my bright future in pharmacy just to gain back the weight i've recently lost)

eddie says hi

bye
