Advice on e-readers?
Okay, O wise and knowledgeable f'list...the cruel, ugly truth is that books do not travel well, so I will eventually have to break down and get a e-reader. Any recommends?
Note: I like the Kindle's layout, but the "waaah, can't buy anyone ELSE's books" exclusivity really steams my beans. Anyone have an open market one that you could wax descriptive about, like a Kobo or a Sony Pocket reader?
Also, I'm probably just looking for a reader, not a web browser. And touch screens are NOT my friend.
