I'm about the right age to start getting them, right? The symptoms sound about right, anyway...ie, shooting pains in my side and yarking and basically feeling like death. I really could have done without the vertigo inviting itself to the party, though. Pain is annoying but a thing you can generally soldier through; dizziness and gut-lurching nausea = vigorous pleas for the sweet release of death.
