Gollum Gets Promoted - Andy Serkis to serve as second unit director on The Hobbit
I know the Riddles in the Dark scene is/was definitely first unit, but I can't help getting smileworthy mental images at this news: "On your marks, tricksy little Hobbit! It must step back, yes, my preciousss, it's in my light!" He definitely needs to direct in his Gollum voice.
And, even more exciting -
Channel 4 will be airing an hour-long documentary on the making of Frankenstein. Hopefully to be included on the eventual and inevitable DVD release of the play...do you hear me, National Theatre? *shakes fist*
