A New Year's kiss is not a cheeseburger
Call me cynical, but the few New Year's "kiss at midnight:" clips I saw this year seemed to be really...offputting.
Not just in the states, either; I saw a clip from Germany where the guy didn't seem to be sharing a nice kiss with his girlfriend so much as trying to cannibalise her face. Instead of sweet and intimate, it just looked aggressive and ugly: "Hey, look at me everyone! I've got a girlfriend who actually lets me have SEX with her! WHOOOOO!
Dudes? Seriously. It's supposed to be a nice tender loving moment between you and someone you cherish...NOT a public forum for you to hump your girlfriend's leg on national television.
