I wish I had enough brain cells to respond to some of your other posts with deep thoughts and stuff, but right now all I got is, "John Simm pic...on my flist...YUM."
My head is so full of Mars/Ashes thoughts right now it's ridiculous. It's going to be hell in two weeks when we won't have any more new episodes to play with. :(
Have you been keeping up with Doctor Who? My latest "no-way-in-hell" (no pun intended) theory is that they're connected somehow. I won't go into details in case you haven't seen all of DW, but in the latest ep Gene tells Alex he's got two hearts, and last week one of the characters said something about Gene that was rather creepily echoed this week by a character about the Doctor.
And then last night one of my friends tweeted, "Based solely on the trailer, next week's Doctor Who could totally explain Ashes to Ashes."
I have been watching Doctor Who, yeah; I just haven't been posting about it because A2A is taking up all the fandom room in my branespace right now. :P What was the thing the character said about Gene that got echoed about the Doctor??
Of course, Who and Mars/Ashes really ARE related, though we don't like to say why...hey, a fella can't help where his last name came from, amIright?
(Though Matthew Graham has been tweeting about Steven Moffat quite a lot lately...hrm...)
Innit though? I love the sneaky little "I know something you don't know" look in his eyes there. I wonder who the photographer was?
That pic always makes me think of "The Man Who Sold the World" by David Bowie...it's an utter travesty that that song was never played in the original series.
