WANT: Would love to see Donna's human-Time Lord hybrid nature play a part in the reset button to fix humanity...even though, knowing RTD, it would probably involve her adding herself to the mounting pile of female corpses who have sacrificed themselves in the name of The Plot.
LIKELY? Nope. Going by past history and the new clip we saw today, I doubt Rusty will give her even enough agency to decide to kill herself.
WANT: If the Doctor and the Master are both 'dying' (even though the Immortality Gate should have fixed the Master - bad continuity, no cookie!), I'd love to see one of them sacrifice themselves to protect the other from the Time Lords. OMG how smug would the Master be? 'You owe me your life now, Doctor. Have fun with that thought. Bye-byeeeeeeeee!'
LIKELY? Maybe...there's really no other reason to have all those juicy Doctor/Master 'I love you, really' scenes (apart from the fact that John Simm made RTD write them before he came back as the Master), unless they're a setup for an emotional payoff later on.
WANT: The former companion 'Mouseketeer roll call' cameos to be brief.
LIKELY? Actually, from some set reports, this might actually be possible. Maybe. *knocks wood*
So, basically: want LOTS moar slashy Doctor/Master scenes, brevity in the companion scenes, and for Donna not to go out as a victim.
Oh, and my only prediction:
He Will Knock Four Times: Eleven's new heartsbeat.
