Holy shit, you guys. Proper snow. Aggressive proper snow. Bastard snow - maybe two flakes went in my mouth, whereas the fuckers hit me right in the eye at least seven times (I counted). Big gorgeous gigantic fluffy stuck-together flakes. I thought the weather monkeys said this was an El Nino or La Nina or El Pollo Loco year or whatever the hell it is and we weren't supposed to get any this winter? And yes, I'd be totally loving this if I hadn't just had to try and slog home through it, and hopefully not give myself galloping tuberculonic plague in the process.
Still, I am home now. Appear to still have all my extremities, though the knuckle of one finger is still a bit red. Had to shake off like a dog before going inside, and knock the snow off my wee McDonald's baggies. Feel very sorry for the people still out driving. The roads were so bad the 32 bus had to take a detour because it couldn't get up the one major hill in its route.
Good news for motorists, though: if this snow is anything like last year's, the roads will be perfectly fine tomorrow morning and the sidewalks will be fucking impassable for the next week and a half. >:P
