reading The Time Traveler's Wife

I've been going through this one very slowly, because I love it so much and I want it to last and I don't ever want it to end.

However...

...the last few nights I've been really plowing through it, staying up WAY later than I should just to read a few pages more to get Clare and Henry married off, or to see wtf happened to Henry to make his head bleed like that, or check that he gets back okay from his latest jaunt; and the author's been dropping MAJOR foreshadowings about what happens to poor Henry, and OMG DO NOT WANT.

Maybe it's because it's been getting painfully cold outside where I live lately and I've got more immediate sympathy for Henry and his poor feets, or maybe it's because Catherine Tate and David Tennant are playing the two main characters in my imagination (because seriously, they are freakishly perfect for the roles), and another very prominent character of Tennant's is just about to come to the end of his song as well. But OMG HENRY knowing that you're going to die and knowing EXACTLY how and when it's going to happen and having to see yourself all hurt and bleeding like that and knowing it's going to happen no matter what you do, and meeting your daughter after you're supposed to be dead and everyone looking at you like you're a ghost and and and...

*clings to Henry*
