holy SHIT, now THAT's what i'm talking about.
AMAZING episode after last week's somewhat cheezy fare...scary and genuinely emotionally involving, and the baddies all seem to be operating on loneliness or misguided love instead of pure evil. Q approves.
also, brilliant casting direction: the older version of rani looks so much like her in the eyes it's spooky.
nice conflict with rose maria away fighting aliens for au torchwood the government and being god's gift, and rani feeling all left out.
'you were so good-looking!' heh! tactful, rani...really tactful. anyway, i quite love harry and i hope he doesn't die next episode. EDIT: OMG harry's actor is married to lis sladen irl! good on ya, man! :D

methinks the lady in the mirror is evie's mum. and it's nice that evie and rani bonded: forget the 'evil alien' bullshit; get two kids chatting and the universe and its problems can all go hang.

pretty obvious what's up with older!rani in the attic now, but it looks like they've managed to throw in some tidbits to keep the suspense up for next time. and speaking of which...
