heat wave: day 3
today's high temp: 106. broke the previous record. lucky fucking me. tomorrow is supposed to be 107.
seriously, it was so hot the city itself was having trouble: in portland they were saying the traffic lights were going wonky and overheating. my internet connection went away for a bit (!!!!! wtf noes do not desert me nao you are my only solace) and was being wonky after - apologies to anyone whose inbox i spammed with multiple replies; stuff wasn't showing up for me.
i am VERY tired of this already. i got along today mostly by evaporation cooling, but i can't do that all night when i'm asleep. i'm also getting a bit of asthma (?) from the heat, or maybe it's just because my apartment's so stuffy.
