today was largely spent going from one place to another (and one bus to another) in a vain attempt to get the washington state health system to actually fucking work. really, i felt like billy in one of those family circus cartoons, although sadly there wasn't a witty one-liner when i finally got to the end of the dots

it was one of those days where it really sucks to be a grownup, because all i wanted to do for most of the day was crumple to the ground and start crying that i was hungry, tired, cold and annoyed, and probably getting the flu to boot, and my wrists hurt and the health department hated me and no one ever loved me and i might as well curl up and rot.

as it was, i settled for sleeping nine hours last night and having a 'fuck off world' day today. aaaaaahhhhhh..... :)

Isn't it great that medical care has such a plentiful supply of bureaucratic bullshit? It's not like it's a matter of life and death or anything.
