eight days of happy - day 5
yes, i'm spamming everyone tonight. anyway, not much in the way of specific things that made me happy today, so more generally speaking:
i'm happy that i live in the age of meteorology - for lo, if i did not, i'm sure that right about now i'd be thinking, 'shit, the gods must be angry. quick, sacrifice a roomba or something!'. i'm also happy that the winter siege that's been upon us for OVER A WEEK AND A HALF NOW is forecast to lift a day or two after christmas. wahey, freedom!
i'm happy to have food, and warmth, and shelter - too many people don't.
i'm happy to know so many goofy, creative, knuckleheaded people - online, in real life, those with two legs, and those with four.
and if you want specifics: i got a package in the mail, and introduced two friends to the glory that is tiny toon adventures: how i spent my vacation. laughs were had. hooray!
