I blame everyone's prompts.. none of them were even slightly angsty!

It would be really difficult to make silly hats angsty, though, to be sure.

Jensen was sick of the hats. Sick of the accents and the faces and the deflected questions.

Mainly he was just sick of Misha being everyone but himself.

Sure, sometimes it was funny. Okay, to be fair, a lot of the time it was funny, downright side-splittingly hilarious, even.

But when Jensen was trying to have a conversation with the guy... Trying to tell him something important, something that felt sharp and lodged in his gut and needed releasing...

Then? Then it was annoying. And strangely painful. Then, the stupid hat on Misha’s stupid head just wasn’t all that funny.

They are just too cute with their silly hats and Misha's maniacal glee and crazy hair and omg, yes. Yesssss.

Well you know, Misha does have the knack with ze accents. He ought to use them in fic more often. Because YUM.
