Okay, first, HOORAY for T.S Eliot references. There aren't enough.

This is wonderful. I loved the deliberate absence of gender in the bright young things Jack bedded in the 20s. I liked what you did with the war; I think it worked very well. The image of the coffee solidifying at the end of that section was particularly poignant.

And I don't really need to tell you that I liked the last bit, do I? ;)

*g* no, you don't. Thank you, love!

I especially wanted to emphasize Jack's love of anything pretty - and pretty in his terms, not anyone elses.

Oh, this was great, seeing Jack through time. And the Jack/Ianto was great. Plus, as an English major, T.S. Eliot references are made of win.

I really like this! I like how you have Jack sneaking back into military life after his younger self leaves with the Doctor. That really makes a lot of sense.

Well poor Algy would be all alone otherwise! ;)

I'm happy you liked it!

I can see it too, all that joy and dancing and pretty young things, he'd have a blast!

I wanted to explore that coffee aspect, even though i'm sure it's been done before. Because even though Ianto supposedly makes the best coffee, Jack was around for a *lot* longer, he would have needed to make his own during those years, or at least get it other places.
